The junior defensive back is coming off an impressive performance against Boston College with 11 tackles including 0.5 for loss along with a major forced fumble plus 1 pass breakup, and 1 QB hurry in the 40-14 victory. His big game also earned him our Defensive Hokie of the Game honors.
In a season where the Hokies secondary have not been healthy at all times, Conner has appeared in every game so far this season and has continued to be a main defensive playmaker for Tech.
On the season, Conner leads the Hokies 29 tackles including 1.5 for loss plus 1 forced fumble, 1 pass breakup, and 1 QB hurry.
In the young season, Conner becomes the second defensive back for the Hokies to claim the honor of wearing the #25 jersey after J.R. Walker wore the number in the season opening matchup against N.C. State.
