After offering him this summer at their satellite camp in Florida, Virginia Tech landed a big defensive commitment today from three-star S Keonta Jenkins out of Jacksonville.
Jenkins chose the Hokies over offers from Indiana, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt, in-state South Florida, and others. Jenkins becomes the Hokies' third defensive back commit joining three-star 757 ATH Lakeem Rudolph and CB Dorian Strong who both committed this summer as well.
Since offering him earlier this summer, Jenkins quickly rose to becoming a top target for Virginia Tech on their defensive back and is a major addition. Additionally, Virginia Tech continues to have plenty of recruiting success in the Jacksonville area with Jenkins joining Keshawn King, Chamarri Conner, and Caleb Steward among the past few classes.
