Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the NCAA has declared a recruiting dead period through at least April 15th.
The dead period will remain in effect at least until April 15, at which time the NCAA Council Coordination Committee will re-evaluate the status of the situation.

This comes after the ACC suspended all athletic activities and the NCAA canceled all remaining 2020 NCAA Championship events due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The decision to declare a dead period does not prevent non face-to-face contact between coaches and recruits. The NCAA has also left the door opened that this recruiting dead period could be extended longer depending on how the coronavirus pandemic continues to develop in the United States.
This is a smart, unilateral move by the NCAA that not only puts the safety of coaches and athletes first, but also ensures a level playing field in a sport that can have varying decisions due to a lack of centralization.
We will have more as this story develops. We also encourage you to follow guidance from the CDC and your local and state health departments in regards to to current coronavirus pandemic.
