Three-Star DE Stephen Sings Commits to Virginia Tech

Entrance 1 1
Virginia Tech has been looking to add at least one defensive end to their 2020 class and the Hokies were able to do that with three-star DE Stephen Sings committing to VT. https://twitter.com/TheSteveSings5/status/1155683045032300547?s=19 Sings chose the Hokies over plenty of quality offers including Auburn (who was among the teams recruiting him the hardest along with VT), Oregon, Missouri, North Carolina, Syracuse, Colorado, Maryland, and more. Sings is also the first 2020 commit from the state of North Carolina, giving Justin Fuente at least one commit from the state of North Carolina in each of his first five classes at Virginia Tech. The Hokies had a strong weekend with Sings becoming the third defensive commit of the weekend joining three-star DL Derrell Bailey Jr and CB Dorian Strong. His visit this past Saturday proved to be the final push to seal the deal with Sings telling us that the Hokies were his "favorite school" and that he was "very close" to making a decision "very soon."
