After gaining a commitment from three-star WR Christian Moss on Friday morning, Virginia Tech landed an impressive preferred walk-on commitment Friday afternoon from three-star OT Will Jones.

Jones chose the preferred walk-on offer from Virginia Tech over loads of scholarship offers from Navy, Army, Air Force, Arkansas State, Liberty, Middle Tennessee State, JMU, Richmond, William & Mary, and numerous others. Jones is a native of Stuarts Draft, VA who spent the past season playing at the well-renowned IMG Academy in Florida.
The Hokies have been looking to add an offensive tackle to their 2021 class and while Jones may not be the scholarship addition, he's an extremely impressive PWO addition who provides a great boost to the 2021 class and the offensive line unit that includes three-star Texan OL Canon Boone, three-star Tennessean interior OL Bryce Goodner, and three-star European offensive guard Danijel Miletic.
