Virginia Tech is set to host a talented visitor and potential difference maker as Temple grad transfer DE Quincy Roche will be visiting the Hokies according to Manny Navarro of The Athletic.
Latest intel on Temple DE transfer Quincy Roche... he’s visiting Va. Tech on Friday and then “probably” Texas this weekend. Already visited Miami and liked it. He’s taking all his visits, a family member tells me. Anything new with UNC? “No,” I’m told. pic.twitter.com/pA6PIybcCE

Roche is one of the best grad transfers in America as he had 49 tackles, 19 total tackles for loss including 13 sacks, 5 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries on his way to earning AAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. During his three years at Temple, Roche had 39.5 tackles for loss, 26 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries as a dominant player throughout his time as Temple.
In addition to Tech, Miami and North Carolina have also been heavily involved in pursuing Roche while Texas is also rumored to be receiving a visit according to Navarro. Tech may have an advantage in one area as the closest school to his hometown of Owings Mills, Maryland.
