For the second-straight year, the Virginia Tech Athletic Department has launched their Drive for 25 giving day.
Last year's Giving Day lasted 25 hours (in honor of the Drive for 25) and was a major success raising almost $900k from over 2,300 donors.
This year, Virginia Tech has expanded the Giving Day promotion making it a 2.5 day time period that started at noon and runs till midnight after Virginia Tech football's primetime game against Duke. As of just after 5pm on Wednesday, Virginia Tech has already raised over $150k from over 600 donors.
