For the second-straight year, the Virginia Tech Athletic Department has launched their Drive for 25 giving day.
Last year's Giving Day lasted 25 hours (in honor of the Drive for 25) and was a major success raising almost $900k from over 2,300 donors.
This year, Virginia Tech has expanded the Giving Day promotion making it a 2.5 day time period that started at noon and runs till midnight after Virginia Tech football's primetime game against Duke. As of just after 5pm on Wednesday, Virginia Tech has already raised over $150k from over 600 donors.
The Tech Lunch Pail is proud to be participating as an ambassador for the Drive 25 Blitz this year. As part of our support, editor Tim Thomas is pledging to match the first $500 given in donations via the ambassador link located in the tweet below or the link below this.
#Hokies, we're ambassadors for today's Drive for 25 Blitz. As soon as $500 is donated through our link, I will personally match it— The Tech Lunch Pail (@techlunchpaild) September 25, 2019
