Virginia Tech Offers 2022 WR Price Williams Jr

Virginia Tech has sent several offers over the past week to talented, in-state 2022 recruits including WR Price Williams Jr.

The Hokies became the fourth program to offer Williams, joining Virginia, Vanderbilt, and Old Dominion. Unsurprisingly, Williams was excited to receive an offer from the Hokies.

"I was caught by surprise but extremely excited, and I feel very fortunate to have received an offer from them," Williams said.

Williams told us that the Hokies had been showing a "pretty good amount of interest" before receiving an offer from Virginia Tech.

There's no doubt that this offer gives VT some momentum that the Hokies will hope to build on when Williams visits Blacksburg for the first time tomorrow. Williams has a good idea about what he's hoping to see during his visit tomorrow as well.

"I’m hoping to get a good feel and experience from this trip, and also to begin building a relationship with the school," Williams said.

Overall, Williams expects this offer to increase the interest in him while it also increases his interest in the Hokies.

"I think this offer will heavily impact my recruitment and has significantly increased my interest in Virginia Tech," Williams said.

Price Williams Jr. has emerged as one of the top 2022 recruits in Northern Virginia with the Hokies having a chance to impress him days after offering him.
