Speculation has been rampant as to whether Virginia Tech will have a unique look against Wake Forest with the Hokies celebrating the career of Bud Foster. In the end, the Hokies have gone with their traditional home uniforms.

The Hokies are going with maroon helmets, maroon jerseys, and white pants; their standard home uniforms, for Saturday's game against Wake Forest. Not only is this one of the most common Virginia Tech uniform combinations, but it's one of the most popular uniform combination among Hokie fans.
Some may have been hoping for a unique look with Lunch Pail wrinkles similar to what we saw with the Frank Beamer 25 helmets and jerseys in Beamer's final home game against North Carolina.
However, going with a classic home look fits Bud Foster well given how Foster was never one to take the spotlight and has coached with a great amount of humility throughout his career.
