With the dead period wrapping up, Virginia Tech is set to host their first Junior Day since adding their final 2020 additions at the February Signing Day. So far, the Hokies already have a strong list of visitors set to come to Blacksburg this Sunday.

Four-star ATH Kamarro Edmonds is the biggest name currently scheduled to visit the Hokies this Sunday. Edmonds recently included the Hokies in his top 8 after telling us earlier in 2020 that the Hokies were among 4 currently standing out.

Part of the reason why Virginia Tech is such a strong contender in his recruitment is due to his strong relationship with Justin Fuente, with this weekend being a chance to build on that. Currently, the Hokies are recruiting Edmonds as an athlete with the potential to play running back or defensive back. Edmonds most recently visited Virginia Tech for a game this past fall.

The Hokies are also hosting a pair of three-star linemen in Diego Pounds and Mattheus Carroll. Both Carroll and Pounds have been offered as defensive ends since the arrival of Tech's new defensive line coaches, though Pounds has the size and versatility to also be an offensive lineman at the collegiate level.

Tech will also be hosting multiple unoffered recruits including three-star RB/LB Hunter Rice and three-star OL Troy Everett, both out of nearby Lord Botetourt HS. Rice isn't the only unoffered recruit visiting with three-star CB Brylan Lanier and WR Nahshawn Hezekiah among the other notable names.

Tech will also host multiple recruits that aren't in the 2021 class including 2022 OL Gunner Givens and 2023 DE/TE Mathias Barnwell, both of whom are among the top in-state recruits in their respective classes. Givens' visit is even more of note as the talented offensive lineman is from nearby Lord Botetourt HS in Botetourt County, VA, and visited VT for a Junior Day earlier this year.

The Hokies are also hosting a contingent of talented recruits from the state of California including four-star recruits Anthony Beavers Jr and D.J. Harvey. It's unclear whether they will be on campus for the regular Junior Day or around midnight when the dead period ends as some tweets seem to suggest.

Here's our running list of visitors who have either confirmed to us their intentions to visit, publicly stated their intentions to visit, or have been confirmed to us by a source. All visitors are members of the 2021 class unless otherwise noted.
