Three-star offensive lineman William Pritchard announced today that he has committed to Virginia Tech over finalists
Tennessee, Virginia, and Illinois.
The three-star offensive lineman is the Hokies' 14th overall commit and third on the offensive line alongside Bryan Hudson and Jesse Hanson. Pritchard is also VT's sixth in-state commit and third from the Richmond area alongside athletes Jaden Payoute and Jahad Carter.
Over the past month, Pritchard went from an under-the-radar offensive lineman to one of the state's top offensive linemen in what is the Commonwealth's best offensive line recruiting class in a long time.
With Pritchard on board, VT has assembled one of their best offensive line classes in the past decade or so with Pritchard pairing up with versatile four-star OL Bryan Hudson and high three-star OG Jesse Hanson.
Virginia Tech has also had their most successful recruiting cycle in RIchmond in years with an impressive trio of commits. This is also an impressive recruiting momentum swing for VT in Richmond after Rayshard Ashby was the Hokies' only Richmond area commit of the Justin Fuente era before this class.
